- Provide expert tax advice on corporate structures, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing specific to the renewable energy sector in APAC.
- Advise on tax-efficient strategies related to international tax planning, cross-border transactions, and transfer pricing policies.
- Collaborate with wider finance team and business units to define and implement transfer pricing strategies, tax compliance and tax reporting controls.
- Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of tax incentives, credits, and subsidies available in the renewable energy sector across APAC countries.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s tax governance framework and internal control processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all corporate tax obligations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.
- Manage the preparation and timely filing of tax returns (corporate income tax, GST, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, etc.) across the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any tax audits, disputes, or inquiries from tax authorities.
- Monitor tax legislation and regulatory changes within the APAC region to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields (specialization in taxation is a plus)
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with 2 to 3 years of Big 4 experience and high-growth, MNC or listed companies
- Good knowledge with APAC and SG tax
- Hands on, driven and collaborative, and high work ownership
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines for multiple concurrent projects across APAC
- Self-starter, strong multi-tasking, and project management capabilities
- Good team management skills
- Able to translate technical tax issues into practical business solutions
