What the role is:You will be involved in the management of contracts under the SolarNova Programme which seeks to promote and aggregate demand for solar PV across government agencies to achieve economies of scale, as well as drive the growth of Singapore's solar industry.What you will be working on:You will be required to work with government agencies, specialists' contractors and town councils to accelerate the deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Singapore. You will also be given the opportunity to carry out research & development studies to provide innovative solutions related to the improvement of energy efficiency and alternative energy solutions such as solar photovoltaic technology, fuel cell technology and alternative energy management technology.What we are looking for:You should possess a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry and good project management skills. You should have a positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work independently. Candidates with experience in solar photovoltaic systems will be preferred. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract as a start.
