  • Ensure awareness and understanding of the Bank's business strategy in relation to FATCA and CRS
  • Enhance stakeholder awareness of reporting regimes
  • Support the team lead in maintaining clear and comprehensive Standards for FATCA and CRS compliance.
  • Provide clear, timely tax technical advice on FATCA and CRS to support internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Reporting Team with annual reporting obligations, including drafting correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Oversee key deliverables to ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
  • Manage the Residual Risk Assessment process, escalating issues to the Head of Department as needed.
  • Monitor tax regulatory changes and collaborate with stakeholders to implement reporting updates.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on tax reporting positions for FATCA, CRS, and other relevant regulations.
Role requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in the financial services space
  • Subject matter expert on tax reporting regimes including FATCA, CRS and US withholding tax
  • Ability to understand operational aspects of implementation of tax requirements
  • Tax technical advisory experience
