Senior/Lecturer (Aerospace Engineering) / School of Engineering[What you will be doing]
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials and student consultations for the following group of subjects related to:
Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Programming and Data Analytics; andEngineering Materials, Aircraft Systems, Aircraft Structures, Gas Turbine Engines, Aviation Legislation & Human Factors, Engine Maintenance & Workshop Practices * Review, design and develop subject materials and assessment
  • Address the diverse learning needs of students in class and ways to develop students' potential holistically through a range of interventions and support mechanisms
  • Supervise students' internships and major projects
  • Involved in staff/student projects with industry partners
  • Collaborate with industry partners to enhance students' learning via field trips and overseas programs
  • Support lessons outside normal office hours whenever necessary
[What we are looking for]
  • Relevant qualifications in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in aerospace R&D or MRO
  • Passed or willing to take and pass CAAS SAR-66 M6 to M10 exams to be qualified Instructors for related subjects in the AEG curriculum
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a strong desire and affinity to share knowledge and interact with youth
  • A self-starter who works well in cross-functional capacities and can integrate different disciplines of knowledge
  • Dynamic, versatile, adaptive and thrives in ever-changing and innovative environments
