Responsibilities:
- Prepare full set of accounts
- Involve in day-to-day finance operation which includes preparation of payments, validating of invoices, preparation of sales invoices and POs, create e-invoice in government portal, etc
- Calculate monthly manhour costs and pass journal in system
- Prepare quarterly project recognition report and reconcile WIPs
- Prepare quarterly GST return
- Reconcile fixed asset functions include tagging, capitalization, transfer, disposal and depreciation
- Assist in audit and tax enquiries
- Maintain good documentation and proper filing systems
- Other ad-hoc financial and accounting task as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in accountancy/ LCCI or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Hands-on experience in accounting systems (MYOB, XERO, etc)
- Experience and knowledge in project accounting or FRS 115 is a plus
- Knowledge of FRS 116
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and excellent working knowledge of excel
