Location: Remote

Employment Type: Part-time (3 days a week)

We are currently seeking an Advertising Platform Specialist to join our forward-thinking team. This role is critical in enhancing the performance of our platform by translating advertising platform knowledge and experience to AffordX product and operations development.. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advertising platforms and the operations of media planning and buying.

Position Summary:

Advertising Platform Specialist is to be the go-to person for executing AffordX's advertising strategies, one must have a deep understanding of the company's business goals. This involves exploring and proposing solutions that leverage platforms like Google, Meta, X, TikTok and programmatic platforms to optimize AffordX’s offering. The role requires staying updated on each platform's changes and developments.

  • To be the go-to person to provide internal stakeholders details and know-hows on how advertisers operate and executes on these advertising platforms
  • To establish a clear understanding of AffordX business
  • To collaborate with the technical and business teams to explore and propose solutions that allows AffordX to succeed on all key advertising platforms
  • To translate and apply in-depth understanding on advertising landscape, platform know-hows to operationalise and scale AffordX products on these platforms
  • To understand what a media buyer is looking for and translate that to how AffordX can be operationalised

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert in all key advertising platforms and be the internal advisor who provides an outside-in view
  • Work with internal teams to ensure clear understanding of how the platforms operate and create solutions for the product
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop performance media strategies aligned with business goals and target audiences.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan, set up, and launch digital advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage budgets effectively across different campaigns, platforms, and ad sets to maximize ROI.
  • Ad Creation and Optimization: Develop compelling ad creatives, copy, and landing pages that resonate with target audiences. Continuously monitor and optimize ads for better performance.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance data, using key metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on various ad elements, including headlines, visuals, ad formats, and targeting options, to improve campaign performance.
  • Audience Segmentation: Utilize audience segmentation and targeting features to reach the most relevant and high-potential audiences.
  • Conversion Tracking: Implement and manage conversion tracking to measure and attribute campaign success accurately.
  • Reporting: Generate regular performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns and achieve KPIs.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing tools, and platform updates to implement best practices and innovative strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Media buyer background
  • Regional/ global exposure
  • Have at least 2 years experience
  • Hands on experience setting up media campaigns on self service platforms
  • Self service platforms include but not limited to: meta, GDN, DV360, X, snapchat
  • Executed campaigns with programmatic partners like The trade desk, Mediamath, appnexus
  • Detail oriented, inquisitive and likes to explore the technicalities of advertising
