The Finance and Admin Executive is responsible for carrying out operational financial and administrative duties including petty cash management, financial data entry and related transactions and other administrative duties.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Day to Day Duties

  • Bank and Cash Management: Check, verify and reconcile all banking transactions to HCSA General Ledger on a daily basis
  • Accounts Payable and Petty Cash Management:

- Ensure payment requests are properly approved with all required supporting documents, properly compiled, reconciled and recorded.

- Ensure all petty cash claims are properly authorized, utilized for business purpose, paid, reconciled and top up with periodic cash counts done.

-Carry out tasks supporting accurate and timely disbursement of petty cash claims, settlements of accounts payable with no duplicate payments.

  • Accounts Receivable and Donation receipts Management: Ensure all donations are properly received, deposited, recorded and filed with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore on a timely basis, and to issue tax exempt receipts as required
  • Monthly reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on donations, receipts, payments on a regular basis
  • Administrative duties: Oversee general office administration and support operational activities, including:

-Manage phone enquiries, check and coordinate mail receipts and distributions;

-Check email enquiries to HCSA and direct as appropriate;

-Direct visitors at HCSA Corporate Office

2. Other Duties

Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in finance and administration
