- Collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to attract top talent in engineering, quality, special skills and other white-collar roles. This includes developing strategies for recruiting from international talent pools.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Utilise advanced sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Explore and engage with global talent markets, including overseas recruitment agencies, professional networks, and online platforms, to source candidates for specialised or hard-to-fill roles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organisations, and industry networks to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications to identify the most qualified candidates.
- Perform initial interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to conduct final interviews and assessments.
- Partner with department leaders and hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs and provide expert guidance on candidate selection.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
- Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the industry.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and networking functions to promote the brand and attract talent.
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for the Head of Talent Acquisition and senior management on recruitment progress and challenges.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on best practices in talent acquisition and continuously seek ways to improve processes and outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 6-8 years' working experience in hiring white-collar professionals
- Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred
- Conversant with prevailing HR practices and legislations
- Good understanding of the requirements and changes of Ministry of Manpower policies, particularly relating to foreign worker quota and entry requirements, and changes that may impact the organization
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and talent market trends
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- May be required to travel overseas for recruitment.
