- Select Alternative Investments is a Direct Investments Platform focused on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. We target private investment opportunities alongside our investors and provide access to our proprietary deal sourcing
- All investments are structured in-house by our team of investment professionals located in Singapore, Zurich, Vienna, and Ho Chi Minh City
- Since our inception over a decade ago, we have deployed in excess of USD 1 billion of commitments across approximately 100 investments
- In order to support our rapidly growing business, we are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated colleague to work directly within our global investment team
- Supporting the investment team in processes throughout the deal cycle
- Screening and evaluation of new investment opportunities in Asia, Europe, and US markets, participating in meetings with external partners and preparing call memos
- Analysing investment memoranda and economics of RE, PE, and VC deals
- Assisting with financial modelling and preparation of market research to support deal due diligence
- Provide analytical, forecasting, and reporting support to investment directors
- Preparation of investment committee memoranda, investor presentations, and other deal materials
- Bachelor’s degree, recently completed or currently enrolled in a Master’s programme from a leading university, preferably in business, finance or related subject
- Previous internship in a relevant field such as investment banking, M&A, or consulting is a plus
- Genuine enthusiasm for a career as an investment professional
- Extremely attentive to detail, intellectually curious, proactive, and goal-oriented
- Fluent in English with high levels of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in both on-the-ground and virtual teams (with other Select offices)
- Strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent research skills, able to find a needle in a haystack
- Strong sense of self-motivation and ownership, ability to work independently and with low supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Able to commit for 3 - 6 months
