The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (A*STAR IHDP) focuses on research that aims to improve and impact the health and well-being of Singaporeans across the life course. The Human Development Group in Institute for Human Development and Potential conducts research on developmental cohorts as well as related studies in nutrition, metabolism, allergy and neurocognition. The successful candidate will provide research and project management support to new and ongoing studies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with study recruitment, answer general enquiries on study and checking study eligibility
  • Assist with obtaining informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible conduct of research (RCR) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
  • Scheduling of clinic visits
  • Perform study measurements, data and biological sample collection accordingly to SOPs
  • Manage research study databases, including data queries
  • Ensure accuracy & completeness of data collection
  • Support project management
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Dietetics or other healthcare disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Diploma in Nursing equivalent. Registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
  • Trained in performing venepuncture and cannulation (preferred).
  • Meticulous, possess good interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Able to work independently, as well as a team player.
