Responsibilities:Network Design & Implementation:
  • Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure to support operations, including new factory setups.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco Switches/Routers, FortiGate & Palo Alto Firewalls, ClearPass NAC, F5 VPN, IPS, WLC, Access Points, and VLAN architectures.
  • Optimize wired, wireless, and VPN networks for security, coverage, and reliability.
Network Operations & Support:
  • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Manage firmware updates, security patches, and configurations for optimal performance.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
  • Implement security measures, including firewalls, IDS, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and other industry standards.
  • Maintain documentation and conduct regular security audits.
IoT & Smart Factory Integration:
  • Design and manage networks for IoT applications, including SCADA and PLCs.
  • Work with OT teams to enable secure communication between IT and OT environments.
Collaboration & Training:
  • Support cross-functional teams with network solutions and best practices.
  • Provide training to junior engineers and IT staff.
Technical Support & Project Management:
  • Act as an escalation point for IT/OT issues, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Lead network-related projects, including procurement, installation, and documentation.
Other Duties:
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team and business goals.
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • Certifications: CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent.
Skills & Experience:
  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing network environments.
  • Good expertise in Cisco networking solutions, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Experience with network security, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.
Competencies:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight SLAs.
Additional Preferences:
  • Experience in smart factory environments and industrial IoT.
