Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students in developing their artistic skills while fostering a fun and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct art lessons for children, teenagers, or adults based on the curriculum.
- Plan and prepare engaging lesson materials, including drawing, painting, and craft activities.
- Provide guidance on different art techniques and encourage creativity.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Assist in organizing art exhibitions, workshops, or holiday programs when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Fine Arts, Design, or related fields.
- Prior experience in teaching art (preferably in a classroom or enrichment setting) - not compulsory
- Passion for teaching and working with students of various ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to commit to regular class schedules (weekday afternoons/evenings or weekends). - not compulsory
- Familiarity with different art mediums and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital art or mixed media is a plus.
- MOE-approved teaching qualifications (if applicable).
