What the role is:We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven individual to support policy reviews, strategic planning and engagements related to community stewardship and partnership efforts and initiatives by NParks.You will be part of a team strategising and developing policies and outreach/ engagement approaches for NParks' stakeholders ranging from youths, grassroots, interest groups, to social enterprises and healthcare institutions. You will support the implementation and enhancement of initiatives such as the Nature Kakis Network and Youth Stewards for Nature (YSN) to promote community stewardship for our City in Nature, as well as volunteer management across NParks.What you will be working on:Strategic planning and policy developmentRegular reviews of policies and frameworks to enhance community partnerships approach across NParks' diverse stakeholder groups, to optimise community stewardship for our City in NatureDesign long-term strategic plans involving different stakeholders and ground up initiatives to build a sustainable community partnerships ecosystemConduct reviews of existing NParks' partnership programmes to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness to organisational goalsYouth DevelopmentFormulate strategies for youth engagement and development under NParks' Youth @SG Nature frameworkCultivate and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders (e.g. Institutes of higher learning (IHLs), non-profit organisations (NGOs), nature groups, etc.) for long-term partnerships and collaborations in youth developmentPartnerships and Volunteer ManagementPlan, implement and coordinate partnerships and volunteer development as well as management strategiesWhat we are looking for:Someone versatile and open to learning opportunities for different scopes of work, from policy reviews to coming up with guiding frameworks and recommendations; to engagement and outreach to build partnerships with diverse stakeholders.Experience in driving and enhancing engagement programmes, with skills in public outreach, stakeholder management, facilitation and engagementA good team player who is also able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal, communication and writing skillsMeticulous with eye for detailPrepared to work outside office hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays for events and outreach, where necessaryOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
