
Junior IT Project Manager / PMO (Contract)
- This is a 12-month direct client contract position with the potential for extension and conversion based on performance.
- Salary range: SGD 7000-8500 per month.
- Due to the urgency of the hire, this position is only open to candidates based in Singapore who do not require visa sponsorship.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Junior IT Project Manager / PMO to support the coordination and execution of IT projects across various workstreams, including infrastructure, security, and application deployment. This role will act as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication, tracking of open items, and the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong tech background and experience in program execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track activities across multiple technical workstreams (Infra, security, application deployment, etc.).
- Facilitate communication between business and tech teams, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of open items.
- Independently manage tasks such as tracking, meeting notes, documentation, and financial tracking.
- Sit in meetings and summarize key points to ensure clarity and action items are captured.
- Support vendors and workstream leads with their activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide first-hand information and assist in the execution and leadership of the project.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Tech-savvy with a background in IT project management or PMO roles.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to independently manage tasks, not just take orders.
- Experience range between 4 to 8 years
- Experience in program delivery, execution, and coordination of different tech streams.
- Ability to document meetings, track activities, and assist with financial tracking.
- Insurance industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
