Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant ManagerThe incumbent shall be responsible to:
  • Support, review and implement new MOH policies by analysing Hospital's requirements. This includes determining feasibility, planning resources required, assessing compatibility with current systems, raising potential problem areas and recommending solutions.
  • Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders in the development/ support of various new systems in the public healthcare landscape (eg National Billing System, Next Generation Electronic Medical Records). This includes analysing financial/charging impacts to both patients and Hospital, performing user acceptance tests and collection of data for migration.
  • Perform process re-engineering due to changes in operations or charging mechanisms.
  • Business partnering with stakeholders which involves providing advisory support.
  • Manage both in-house and out-sourced projects to meet project scope, budget and schedule.
  • Review service requests from operations and maintain the current system set ups for pricing, etc.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
  • Degree in quantitative fields such as Accountancy, Finance/Business Admin, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Applied Analytics.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management, change management and facilitation experience.
  • Pro-active, resourceful, able to take challenges, work independently or as a team and able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare industry and public healthcare subsidy & financing framework is preferred.
