This unique role combines drafting expertise with quantity surveying skills, specifically focusing on electrical systems, to support our projects from design through to completion.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD or BIM software.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for electrical materials and labor.
- Develop and manage tender documents and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Review and assess contractor submissions and quotes for project works.
- Monitor project budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform site measurements and evaluations to support project progress.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Good command of English in both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and quantity surveying principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience in drafting and quantity surveying, particularly in electrical engineering projects is a good to have.
- Knowledge / experience in Revit / BIM software, and Cubicost (TBQ and TME) is a good to have.
