Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize options trading strategies for Asian markets
- Analyze market data and use quantitative models to identify and exploit profitable trading opportunities
- Monitor and manage risk exposure, ensuring alignment with risk management protocols and strategies
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, data scientists, and other traders to refine trading algorithms and strategies
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, news, and economic events impacting options pricing and volatility across Asia
- Execute trades and manage positions effectively, ensuring optimal execution and liquidity
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of G-20's trading systems, technology, and infrastructure
- Strong background in options trading with a solid understanding of global options markets, especially within Asia
- Experience with quantitative trading and the ability to apply data analysis and statistical models to trading decisions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar (preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial markets, options pricing, volatility, and risk management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
- A results-driven, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Fluent in English, and knowledge of additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) is a plus
