
Assistant Manager (Genomic Assessment Centre)
To enable the implementation of precision medicine in SingHealth, KKH Genetics Service is establishing a Genomic Assessment Centre (GAC) to allow for national screening for Familial Hypercholesterolemia. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at the GAC. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building the workflows in the centre and be responsible overall for the daily administration of the centre. Key responsibilities include administrative support for the clinical processes, engagement with MOH and other stakeholders.
Job Scope:
- Oversees daily operations of the GAC
- Ensure efficient scheduling and workflow optimization of the GAC
- Identifies, monitors and ensures key performance indicators and standards are adhered to, to achieve goals of the GAC
- Assist in budget planning, monitoring and cost control to ensure financial sustainability
- Act as a liaison between clinicians, genetic counsellors, genetic counselling associates and referring clinicians
- Ensure timely and clear communication with stakeholders regarding test results, operational updates and workflow improvements
- Address patient and provider inquiries, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction
Job Requirements:
- Recognised degree with 6 years’ relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, organising and prioritising skills
- Strong coordinating and facilitation skills
- A team player and yet able to work independently
