Job Responsibilities
- Overall lead, supervise & manage the team for ship building and ship repair works onboard vessel
- Familiar with Contract Work Duration, ensuring timely, smooth progress of operations, recording all forecast schedules, and delay progress, from time to time
- Provide technical support and assist in project planning and coordination on all site activities.
- Liaise with external parties, including clients, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and relevant authorities.
- Identify possible risks to the projects and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
- Supervise contractor's works according to design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements and local codes & regulations, equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements, and commissioning
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures and duties assigned by the Management from time to time
Job Requirement
- Minimum 5 years as Project Manager or relevant work experience in similar capacity in Marine industries
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, methods and regulations
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
