Job Description
· Liaise closely with operations staff on all safety and health issues on the work site.
· Carries out site safety inspections of workplace and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance to WSH/EHS related acts.
· Investigate, analyze, report and suggest appropriate prevention measures in the event of incidents/accidents occurred.
· Recommend and implement (improvement / corrective) actions to enhance safety and efficiency.
· Coordinate and maintain records of site safety orientation and daily tools box meetings.
· Assist in the preparation of various reports, documents and forms.
· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
· Plan, co-ordinate and oversee activities related to fire-safety, emergency response, first-aid and WSH/EHS risk assessment and management.
· Assist in in-house safety training programs.
· Responsible for all safety aspects of the construction work site.
· Audit equipment, machineries, and assets regularly to ensure that they are in good working condition and equipped with safety protection.
· Assess and analyze potential risks and make recommendations when new/second hand equipment and machineries are purchased for use.
· Ensure that risk assessments for all work activities are conducted and to propose recommendation and review them when necessary.
· Liaise with MOM on all WSH issues.
Job Requirement
· Minimum Diploma in any engineering discipline/building/Safety & Health/Environment
· Possess WSQ advanced Certificate in WSH or Registered in MOM
· At least 2 years of relevant working experience
· Good knowledge in emergency preparedness, mitigation and response
· A team player
