What the role is:Join the Public Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) as a Journalist and craft compelling narratives that showcase our officers and capabilities. In this role, you will create a range of editorial content that demonstrates how the SPF safeguards every day, in order to build public trust.What you will be working on:Police Life You will conceptualise, write, edit and share a range of editorial content for Police Life (https://www.police.gov.sg/media-room/police-life). You will also support the operations of the Editorial Unit, in areas such as: - Content planning for the editorial calendar - Data analytics and AI for content production and publishing - Managing communication platforms (public and internal) - Knowledge management - Website management duties - Supervision and guidance for manpower resources (e.g. NSFs/NSmen, interns) Police Annual You will manage the production of the Police Annual. Your duties will include: - Liaising with Police units on editorial content - Working with the appointed vendor on the design and layout of the Annual - Editorial oversight - Managing distribution arrangementsWhat we are looking for:
  • Background in Communications, Marketing or a related field. • Strong command of the English language. • Preferably have prior experience in communications, photography/videography, graphic design, social media, data analytics and AI. • Proficiency in the Adobe creative suite of software is an advantage. • Strong writing skills, creativity and a flair for visual presentation. • Driven and proactive in leading projects. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. • Able to work both independently and as part of a team. • Able to multi-task and deliver under tight timelines.
