Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Work closely with Business Functions on areas pertaining to L&D, Talent Review, Performance Management and support C&B matters.
  • Assess training needs across the organization through surveys and performance evaluations. Work closely with Functions to create and implement structured OJT programs to further enhance employee skills and knowledge in their specific roles.
  • Design, develop, and implement effective training programs that align with business objectives and employee development plans.
  • Manage Training Administration, including training registration, training grants matters and sourcing of suitable training vendors.
  • Develop and maintain a competency matrix that outlines the skills and competencies required for various roles within the organization. Work with managers to identify competency gaps and create targeted development plans to address these gaps.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting and performance evaluations. Assist in the development and implementation of performance metrics and evaluation tools to assess employee performance effectively.
  • Support the talent review sessions to assess employee performance, potential, and readiness for advancement; including performance improvement plans and career development opportunities
  • Support budget planning for training cost and allocation.
  • Conduct market benchmarking on existing C&B and recommend best practices and review; where applicable.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to training and performance management.
  • Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Good working experiences in HR data/analytics skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems and talent assessment tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, pivot) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and training software - Corner Stone.

Experience

  • Min 5 years of working experience in HR, with a focus on training and development, performance management, and talent review, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Education

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in HR (e.g., IHRP-CP) is a plus.
