Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, ESG sustainability reports, and variance analysis to meet reporting deadlines.
- Lead forecasting, budget planning, and cost management while providing actionable financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements, including GST, MAS reporting, and SGX announcements.
- Manage liquidity, oversee cash flow, authorize payments, and review reconciliations for accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers for year-end audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and drive process improvements in reporting, budgeting, and financial systems.
- Support ad-hoc assignments, including system implementation projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent, with CA, CPA, or ACCA certification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
