Role Overview

The ideal candidate will translate complex trade policies into actionable insights, helping businesses enhance supply chain resilience and optimize strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Policy & Supply Chain Risk Analysis
- Conduct in-depth assessments of trade regulations, export controls, and compliance requirements, evaluating their impact on:
- Supply chain resilience and diversification strategies
- Logistics infrastructure and trade corridor accessibility
- Compliance requirements for multinational operations
- Monitor evolving trade trends, including shifts in global trade partnerships and regional supply chain dynamics.
2. Policy Advisory & Research
- Policy Updates & Webinars: Deliver clear and concise trade policy updates to TAPA members via teleconferences, ensuring members stay informed on key developments.
- Research & Reporting: Analyze the impact of trade policies on TAPA members' operations and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade policy analysis, supply chain risk management, or a related field.
- Strong ability to communicate complex trade developments in an accessible manner.
- Proven track record in roles involving trade-related research, government agency experience, industry associations, or journalism covering economic and trade affairs.
