Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Programme Management, the incumbent will work with stakeholders (which could include, but not limited to, the Academic Director, instructors, alumni, corporate partners and participants) to create sets of compelling, high-quality business-focused experiential and immersive learning to complement the EMBA curriculum at each city that the programme visits. These experiences can be course-linked or course-agnostic but locally relevant. Apart from holding discussions with stakeholders, the incumbent will make outreach, make connections, coordinate arrangements and facilitate the immersive experience. Additionally, experiential learning could encompass onsite learning at partner universities via an exchange arrangement.
Beyond experiential learning, this role will also support EMBA alumni engagement by fostering meaningful connections, curating alumni-driven initiatives, and enhancing the post-programme experience, supplementing the efforts of the BIZAlum office.
Immersive Learning
- Engage with faculty and/or academic director to understand the learning objectives and to co-create the immersive experience for the course and location assigned with immersive learning. An immersive experience could include, but not limited to, corporate visits, distinguished speakers, panel sharing, and field work.
- Approach and make outreach to targeted industries/companies to explore collaborations
- Make connections and facilitate content discussions between faculty/academic director and corporate partners
- Coordinate and finalize the programme lineup for the visits
- Organize briefing (where needed) in preparation for the visits
- Coordinate logistical arrangements
- Receive 360 feedback involving hosts, faculty and participants
- Analyze feedback, organize internal debriefs and work on action plans for improvement. Encourage faculty involvement in all aspects of the programme to continually provide high-quality teaching, including the delivery of blended learning.
- Oversee the timely and accurate grade submissions and monitoring of student progress during the programme
- Effective coordination with internal stakeholders whose contributions are essential to the delivery of the programme, including alumni, alumni office, careers service office, corporate communications, marketing and admissions team, department heads and administrators, etc.
Exchange Partnership Collaboration
- Assess strategic tie-ups through collaborative partnerships with schools/universities globally
- Develop strategic connections with a view to enhancing the experiential experience and broaden network connections for NUS EMBA participants
EMBA Alumni Engagement
- Develop EMBA-specific alumni engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships with graduates post-programme
- Facilitate ongoing connections between current participants and alumni
- Collaborate with the BIZAlum office to complement their initiatives while addressing EMBA-specific needs
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in business education, alumni relations, or corporate engagement is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and mobilize alumni networks
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing
- Good influencing and persuading skills, especially in engaging alumni and corporate partners
- Team player and effective collaborator
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented, independent and resourceful individual
- Able to travel as needed
