Financial Analyst
Atomic Recruitment is partnering with a MNC in the industrial industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
Budget: $6000-$6500/month
Location: West Location
Work Mode: 5 days in office
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts from a General Ledger (G/L) perspective.
- Prepare and present comprehensive monthly management reports, including financial results, business drivers analysis, and provide insightful commentary on variances between actual and forecasted outcomes.
- Manage the company’s inventory processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update supporting schedules to ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Supervise the reporting packages from international subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and uphold internal, local, and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with various divisions to collect, review, and submit business forecasts aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors, providing requested support and documentation in a timely manner.
- Assist in the implementation of governance and internal controls initiatives, including strengthening existing controls and enhancing finance department processes and systems.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
- Degree holder from Accountancy/Finance studies
- With professional certificate (CA/CPA/ACCA) preferred
- Proficient in IFRS Accounting Standards
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- A self-starter who can plan, organize, and take the initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently and able to work with all levels in a high matrix organization.
- Meticulous, strong analytical skills, well-organized and self-motivated team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
