About The Role

  • The Vice President of Sourcing will manage all Non-Cocoa Ingredient activities in the AMEA region.
  • Develop strategies and build sourcing partnerships to ensure ingredients are purchased competitively while meeting company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead a team in AMEA managing all sourcing activities to support our chocolate plants and to ensure financial goals are met
  • Drive strategies, plans, and programs to increase margins and product quality
  • Develop profitability goals, P/L, and budget
  • Serve on local Senior Management Team developing strategies to ensure we stay “best in class”
  • Develop, expand and optimize our vendor supplier network and partnerships in A MEA
  • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships within the company
  • Support global non-cocoa strategy and project implementation in the region.
  • Manage commodity risks and positions to ensure compliance with BC Risk Management Policies
  • Participate in industry events and customer visits as needed
  • Drive Sustainability Programs and other company initiatives - Global and Regional
  • Help deploy and execute indirect material global strategy and initiatives to help indirect team
  • Up to 30% of domestic and international travel

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, or Food Science
  • Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • At least 10 years of Procurement experience in the food industry and at least 5 years of experience leading people
  • In-depth knowledge of Procurement best practices
  • Proven influencing skills with regional presidents and other senior-level stakeholders
