About The Role
- The Vice President of Sourcing will manage all Non-Cocoa Ingredient activities in the AMEA region.
- Develop strategies and build sourcing partnerships to ensure ingredients are purchased competitively while meeting company quality standards.
- Lead a team in AMEA managing all sourcing activities to support our chocolate plants and to ensure financial goals are met
- Drive strategies, plans, and programs to increase margins and product quality
- Develop profitability goals, P/L, and budget
- Serve on local Senior Management Team developing strategies to ensure we stay “best in class”
- Develop, expand and optimize our vendor supplier network and partnerships in A MEA
- Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships within the company
- Support global non-cocoa strategy and project implementation in the region.
- Manage commodity risks and positions to ensure compliance with BC Risk Management Policies
- Participate in industry events and customer visits as needed
- Drive Sustainability Programs and other company initiatives - Global and Regional
- Help deploy and execute indirect material global strategy and initiatives to help indirect team
- Up to 30% of domestic and international travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, or Food Science
- Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
- At least 10 years of Procurement experience in the food industry and at least 5 years of experience leading people
- In-depth knowledge of Procurement best practices
- Proven influencing skills with regional presidents and other senior-level stakeholders
