Scope and Responsibility :

  • Assist Employer in ensuring contractors meets the regulatory and requirements under WSH Act;
  • Develop the Employer’s WSH plans and procedures, and ensure they are well implemented and fit for the Project. Work with Contractors’ health and safety department in the project kick-off meeting.
  • Review the Contractors’ compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice.
  • Ensure the Contractors’ compliance to regulatory and the Employer’s Health and Safety policy, site requirements and house rules.
  • Conduct WSH induction training for all the Employer’s project personnel.
  • Work with the Contractors to set up the Project health and safety committee structure.
  • Check the Contractor’s health and safety monitoring on site is adequate.
  • Review and report on WSH results and provide recommendations.
  • Attend the Employer’s and/or Contractors’ monthly WSH committee meetings and other internal, as and when required.
  • Attend project meetings and site discussions as and when required by the Employer.
  • Conduct regular site safety and health inspections and follow up on closure.
  • Review investigation report of any accident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease that occurred at the workplace, and monitor and review mitigation measures in accordance with the Employer’s requirements.
  • Work with the Employer and Contractors to set up the emergency response plan.
  • Submit weekly site inspection reports to the Employer.
  • Submit monthly WSH audit reports to the Employer
  • Review and maintain all necessary WSH records, certificates, notices and documents as required.
  • Assist in the preparation & submission of safety and health documents to authority.
  • Conduct incident investigation relating to employees if any incident occur in the premises and prepare preliminary reports to management and assist in work injury compensation claim and reporting.
  • Initiate necessary arrangement for fellow workers to undergo the required safety and health orientation course and other safety and health related courses.
  • Conduct in-house safety training to instill safety consciousness among workers to improve and upgrade their safety and health knowledge when required.
  • Develop and review company’s Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures.

Requirements :

• Singaporean / PR

• 6 days work week

• Preferably 6 years WSHO Experience

• Preferably 6 years experience in Building construction

• Medically fit

• Able to start in June 2025
