Installation & Commissioning

  • Oversee the installation and setup of new asphalt plants and related equipment.
  • Have good knowledge in reading foundation drawing
  • Ensure proper calibration and alignment of machinery during commissioning.
  • Conduct test runs to verify operational efficiency before full-scale production. Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Conduct predictive maintenance using diagnostic tools to detect potential failures.
  • Carry out emergency repairs to minimize plant downtime.
  • Maintain and replace wear parts (e.g., drum liners, screens, conveyor belts, elevator chain, sprocket etc).
  • Handle electrical & mechanical troubleshooting, including motors, control panels, and sensors.
  • Good knowledge on pneumatic systems

Technical Support & Training

  • Train plant operators and maintenance staff on proper machine handling.
  • Provide technical support to ensure smooth plant operation.

Travel

  • Travel to different plant locations (Asia and Middle east mostly) for installation and service work.

Other Technical Skills:

  • Mechanical Knowledge – Understanding of plant machinery, including crushers, conveyors, dryers, and mixers.
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Skills – Ability to work with induction motors, servo motors, damper controls, sensors, control panels, and electrical wiring. Good knowledge on VFD, Weighing indicators, PLC troubleshooting and Temperature sensors (PT100, thermocouples and temperature controllers).
  • Pollution control system- Have good knowledge in pollution control system
  • Pneumatic Systems – Familiarity with Screw compressor and piston compressors, actuators, valves
  • Burners – Have good knowledge in troubleshooting burners and Thermal oil heaters.
  • Welding & Fabrication – Basic knowledge of welding and metalwork for quick on-site repairs.
  • Schematic Reading – Ability to understand electrical schematics.
  • Diagnostic Skills – Identifying faults and malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Quick Decision-Making – Making efficient repairs and adjustments under pressure.
  • Root Cause Analysis – Investigating recurring problems to prevent future failures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma – Preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in Asphalt or Heavy Machinery Industry – Prior work in asphalt plants or similar industrial environments.
