Description

This leading energy company is a global reference in low-carbon energy and services, with a top energy management business. Due to business expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an LNG Operations Executive to join their global LNG team.


Role

Reporting to the LNG Operations Manager, The Operator involves overseeing daily LNG cargo deliveries, managing loading and discharging operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing necessary documentation. It includes negotiating and managing commercial contracts, analysing and mitigating risks for spot cargoes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires flexibility to handle after-hours requests and managing work allocation for delivery operations and contracts, with responsibilities subject to change based on business needs.


Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in maritime studies or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in full-set cargo operations, preferably within an international trading company or major. LNG experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in other energy products are also welcome. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team. You will be comfortable working on a trading floor, adapting to evolving business requirements while remaining fully focused on daily tasks and targets.
