
Accounting Manager (US MNC) #JTL
· The General & Sales Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the accounting and financial process in order to ensure processes and procedures are in accordance with Corporate and Legislative requirements (SG & AU)
· The General & Sales Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring timely, complete, accurate, relevant and value-adding accounting/financial information to ensure that business decisions can be made & the assets of the business are controlled/safeguarded effectively.
· Responsible to coordinate and manage the activities related to General and Sales Accounting, Accounts Payable and Tax Administration in order to ensure the Financial Statements are properly presented in compliance with Goodyear Corporate policy (US GAAP) and Local Accounting standards (MFRS) as well as local tax laws and regulations of SG and AU on a timely manner.
· Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial reports including, but not limited to internal and external monthly financial statements.
· Responsible to oversee and manage the overall sales accounting processes, including reviewing sales cut-off, credit process and accounts reconciliation.
· Responsible to oversee and manage overall Account Payable activities including review and approving Shopping Cart, proper set up of dele\gation and authority, invoice and ensure payment on time in avoid business/service interruption
· Establish and maintain systems, controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, including complying with the requirement of Sarbanes Oxley Act
· Build a business relationship with all corporate, regional and local stakeholders and act as the main point of contact to GBS associates assisting him/her with local queries to provide ongoing support.
· Local contact point for external audit, tax agent, local tax authority and custom.
· Coordinate FG stock count during half annual stock take
Requirements
· Minimum five (5) years of working experience in General Accounting & Financial Reporting & Consolidation environment.
· Minimum three (3) years in managerial position (in addition to the above 5 years experience)
· Able to start work at short notice is greatly preferred
· For the candidates with audit experience, must be having experience of auditing manufacturing industry
