Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of all building system services, including maintenance, emergency response, and improvement projects, delivered by both internal teams and external contractors.
  • Supervise adherence to regulatory requirements, ensuring timely procurement of permits, completion of work within response time standards, and meeting safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, ensuring effective corrective actions are taken and providing detailed reports on incidents, faults, and emergency responses.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating service performance and recommending optimised practices for resource allocation, operational efficiency, and scheduling.
  • Manage the FM helpdesk and feedback systems, ensuring that all user concerns and operational issues are addressed promptly and with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration processes, ensuring all work orders, requisitions, and invoices comply with client policies and financial controls.
  • Collaborate closely with other facilities management professionals and contractors to ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Higher NITEC/Diploma or professional certification in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in building systems operations and management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing key building systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, BMS, electrical, fire protection, and security systems.
  • Proficiency in building management systems (BMS), Microsoft Office, and data analytics tools.
