Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Total event management – programme development, marketing, communications, public relations, logistics, digital marketing, etc.
  • Source, manage, and liaise closely with third-party vendors, suppliers, contractors, and creative, marketing, and PR agencies to execute events effectively.
  • Monitor budgets, create comprehensive event timelines, manage critical milestones, and proactively communicate with stakeholders to maintain schedules.
  • Prepare third-party agreements, contracts, and develop compelling sales, partnership, and sponsorship decks.
  • Plan and implement exhibitor, sponsor, partner and visitor promotions.
  • Plan and execute marketing strategy and tactical campaigns related to the events, both print and digital.
  • Craft, edit, and proofread event collaterals, video scripts, agency briefs, stakeholder communications, press releases, letters, and memos.
  • Manage website content, email communications, ticketing, event merchandise procurement, and maintain email databases.
  • Handle administrative duties including filing, billing, invoicing, sourcing, and preparation of presentations.
  • Pursue new partnerships and sponsorships, provide dedicated account servicing, and ensure timely distribution of updates and promotional materials to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies on strategy, development of newsworthy content, coordination of media interviews, management of media event logistics, and curation of photos for communications.
  • Plan, create, and manage social media content and execute campaigns/contests to increase interest, followers, and event buzz.
  • Prepare post-event reports and future recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Should possess a Degree in related fields.
  • At least 5 years of event management experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of digital marketing experience including paid campaign setup on Google and Meta from scratch and SEO, SEM.
  • Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking attributes.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, resourceful and proactive.
  • Highly attentive to details.
  • Customer and service-oriented.
