Senior Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager (Rooms Sales) is responsible for driving room revenue through proactive sales strategies, client relationship management, and market analysis. This role focuses on developing key accounts, acquiring new business, and optimizing revenue performance in alignment with the hotel's commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize room revenue and market share.
- Identify, acquire, and grow key corporate, leisure, and MICE accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site inspections, and sales calls to strengthen relationships and generate business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements to secure new accounts and retain existing clients.
2. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to ensure effective yield management and inventory control.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, and industry partners.
- Develop and execute account management plans to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel's offerings.
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs set by the management.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Front Office, Reservations, Marketing) to ensure seamless execution of sales commitments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on rooms sales.
- Strong network of corporate, travel, and MICE industry contacts.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
