Equifind are recruiting for a Fund Accountant (Associate/Senior Associate) for a top tier Global Private Equity firm ( $300Bn AUM) based in Singapore. The role is broad, team dynamic and involves a lot of cross team collaboration and senior stakeholder partnering as well.

The firm in Singapore has offices globally and are well regarded in the industry with some very notable investments under their belts.

While being a medium size corporate, the sense of collaboration and striving for excellence and culture from the top down cannot be stressed enough. You will not be a cog in a large wheel here but senior management get involved and know everyone.

The role

The breadth in this role cannot be stressed enough also, Your primary responsibilities as a Fund Accountant will be:

  • Oversee fund operations, including capital calls, distributions and cash flow management for private equity funds and SPVs and ensure compliance with LPA and process controls
  • Monitor cash activities, including fund and asset-level facilities, accounts receivable management, handling invoicing and processing payments related to the fund and its investments
  • Provide transaction support to deal team members during the investment and exit process
  • Collaborate with external parties (e.g., auditors, external counsels) and internal teams (e.g. fund accounting, tax, legal and compliance) to ensure smooth operations
  • Work with fund accounting team to ensure accuracy of quarterly close
  • Handle LPs’ queries and support IR requests when necessary
  • Perform and support ad-hoc project for the leadership

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-6 years experience within fund accounting in Asset Management
  • Ability to thrive is a fast paced environment, tight deadlines
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
