You will also be responsible for adjusting and translating Avaya's global contract templates and to provide negotiation and transactional support of our business. You will work collaboratively with the respective business organizations in the region and the broader legal and contracting team globally to ensure best-in-class support to our partners and customers. This position is based in Singapore and requires an independent, self-motivated and well-organized person that also manages the legal related administrative work.   • Law degree
  • At least 2-3 years commercial legal experience under private practice or in-house with international environment.
  • Excellent command of Business English
  • Independent work capability, self-motivated, result driven, open minded, collaborative and sensitive to multicultural working environments and excellent team player
  • Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance legal and business considerations, problem solve and operate largely independently in a diverse and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, time management skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to think creatively, identify solutions, take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing business requirements
  • High level of accountability and integrity
Helpful Skills and Experience
  • Data Privacy and Telco Regulatory Experience preferred
  • Experience negotiating Cloud and Software as a Service deals
  • Japanese and/or Mandarin language skills
