Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops a detailed understanding of Zebra’s business and integrates within Sales, Global Supply Chain and Repair, Marketing and People Team functions as a trusted partner
- Collaborates with these functions to understand short- and long- term transactional goals related to Zebra’s sales strategies, procurement activities and talent management
- Provides strategic advice on deal structures to maximize benefits while minimizing risks
- Drafts contracts of varying complexity, including novel contracts requiring significant creativity, and drives these contracts to closure with enthusiasm
- Reviews and modifies contracts submitted by customers and suppliers, driving these contracts to closure in a timely manner
- Advises on a wide range of in-house legal matters, from labor issues to intellectual property concerns.
- Offers counsel on enforcing contract claims against customers or suppliers and provides contract interpretation advice regarding claims involving Zebra
- Delivers training to Zebra stakeholders on contracting principles and compliance matters, as needed
- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts which include sales and procurement
- Experience drafting and reviewing employment agreements, severance agreements and employment policies, and handling internal investigations
- Familiarity with the technology sector is advantageous
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
- Strong management skills and attention to details
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
- Initiative to independently resolve moderate issues with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage projects, tasks and/or contracts to closure with minimal oversight, and discernment to escalate issues when necessary
