Job Summary:

The Assistant Guest Relations Manager supports the Guest Relations Manager in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by overseeing customer service, reservations, VIP handling, and service recovery. This role involves supervising the front-of-house team, enhancing guest engagement, and maintaining high service standards to promote guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure.
  • Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and ensure their preferences are met.
  • Act as a main point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to improve service.

2. VIP & Special Guest Handling

  • Maintain relationships with VIPs, regular patrons, and corporate clients.
  • Ensure VIP guest preferences and special requests are met to enhance loyalty.
  • Coordinate with F&B and operations teams to provide exclusive guest experiences.

3. Reservations & Event Coordination

  • Oversee reservations management, ensuring optimal guest flow and table allocation.
  • Liaise with the events team to coordinate private dining, functions, and special occasions.
  • Assist in developing guest loyalty programs and promotions.

4. Team Supervision & Training

  • Support in hiring, training, and mentoring the front-of-house team.
  • Conduct regular briefings and service standard checks to ensure consistent guest interactions.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellent hospitality.

5. Administrative & Operational Support

  • Monitor daily guest reports, reservations, and feedback logs.
  • Ensure compliance with venue policies, service standards, and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with management to implement guest service initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience in luxury dining, hotel guest relations, or high-end service environments.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Proven experience in guest relations, front-of-house management, or hospitality service.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems (Sevenrooms, POS software, and CRM tools.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
