- Support sales organization to enhance effectiveness in meeting sales targets
- Lead cross-category planning of the contracting cycle
- Oversee the preparation of sales performance reports and forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and reliability for senior management.
- Lead cross-category allocation process (when required): how to allocate resources to categories and customers in line with our customer segmentation strategy and regional profitability targets
- Lead deployment of commercial tools and methodologies developed/selected/deployed by Commercial Excellence COE
- Key interface with Commercial Excellence COE to provide input into tool development and selection
- Develop deployment plan in-region, aligned to global plans and regional priorities
- Drive and manage real and consistent adoption of tools among commercial teams
- Lead Sales Ops team in the region
- Manage internal and external contract agreements with our customers, ensuring internal and external audit compliance is met
- Customer account management, sales reporting, onboarding new sales force, and providing continuous sales training to the sales force
- Day-to-day management of Sales Operations team members (approx. 5 ppl, regionally dependent)
- Deploying Sales Force Dot Com to the region and ensuring compliance
- Lead Inside Sales (where applicable)
- Short-term: Monitor and track commercial integration process: synergy execution, deployment of central tools or programs
- Key interface to IMO (in Commercial & Transformation)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Expert knowledge in multiple related specialised fields, disciplines, tools and approaches within the function.
- Advanced communication skills to convey highly complicated and sometimes commercially sensitive information with a diverse audience
- Ability to manage programs and deployment activities, and balance global frameworks and local realities to achieve a common goal
- Able to significantly influence the decision-making for a specific region
- Able to solve highly complex problems which require advanced decision-making, original thought and new solutions.
- Proven ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders, including the Executive Committee (ExCo) and Leadership Team.
