
Social Media Senior Creative Designer
Singapore Medical Group is searching for a Social Media Senior Creative Designer who’s got a sharp eye for design, a knack for big ideas, and the talent to make brands shine on social media.
We need someone with style and creativity—a pro at crafting stunning key visuals, setting bold creative directions, and dreaming up fresh, scroll-stopping concepts. Bonus points if you can shoot vertical videos that feel intentional, not tacked-on. You should know the social media landscape inside out and have the skills to make SMG brands stand out visually.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop brand(s) look & feel, creative concepts and key visuals (videos and statics) that drive engagement on social media.
- Craft social-first design directions that don’t just look good, but feel native to the platform.
- Collaborate closely with a team of seasoned marketers on a video-first social media strategy that is aligned with brand(s) objectives.
- End-to-end creative project management, from concept development and storyboarding; presenting creative concepts and campaigns to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind design decisions; and final production and delivery.
- Bring ideas to life - shoot and edit of short and long-form videos as well as photography that feel authentic and compelling.
- Stay up to date with current design and social media trends, emerging technologies, and emerging art styles to keep our creative output fresh and relevant.
- Push creative boundaries and provide artistic direction, guidance, and feedback to a small team of creative designers and marketers, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand objectives.
- Collaborate with external teams, vendors, agencies, and freelancers to execute projects as needed.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field and minimum of three of five years of experience in design, art direction, or social media creative roles. A proven track record as a Senior Designer / Junior Art Director / Junior Creative Director is a plus.
- A strong sense of style – whether it’s high-end luxury or the latest trend, you know what looks good and why
- Social media savvy – you get platform nuances and how visuals need to adapt for each one
- Exceptional conceptual and design skills, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital and social media
- Knowledge of various art forms, photography styles, and illustration techniques. Actual photography skills are a plus.
- Comfortable with shooting and editing videos (we’re not expecting cinema-level productions, just a good eye and execution).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership, resourcefulness, communication and organizational skills to effectively guide and inspire a small creative and marketing team.
- Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and evolving business requirements, without compromising on quality.
