- Assist VP and SVP of Product Control team in the technical assessment of accounting treatments for new products and product alterations. Review the analysis in the determination of accounting treatment (such as VFA eligibility, Onerous cohorts, Coverage units, Level of aggregation), application of actuarial funding, and assumptions for both IFRS and regulatory capital reporting, including economic and non-economic assumptions
- Review sensitivity of financial results with assumption and market condition changes, and assess the impacts to entity level financial results
- Review IFRS 17 profit signature, and assess the impacts to entity level P&L
- Support the wider Actuarial and Finance teams with regard to implementation of the new products / product alterations into the Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting processes and models
- Support Actuarial and Finance teams on ad-hoc analysis related to product level financial and capital assessments, for the purpose assessing INSP financial positions and devising any management actions
- At least 2 years of Actuarial experience
- Experience in IFRS 17 and RBC2 capital calculations is an advantage
- Knowledge in Prophet modelling is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with various stakeholders
