  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Wärtsilä Marine Legal & Compliance is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel for our Marine Business in the Middle East and Asia.This position reports to the Managing Counsel, Middle East and Asia, Marine Legal & Compliance. It offers excellent career opportunities, international exposure, and a dynamic, rewarding working environment supported by comprehensive training.This is a permanent position located at Pandan Crescent, Singapore.About the Position:As a member of the global Marine Legal & Compliance team, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing legal advice to the sales and project delivery teams.
  • Negotiating and drafting international and local sales contracts and other legal documents.
  • Implementing Wärtsilä's legal & compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Managing disputes (litigation & claims).
  • Providing legal training.
  • Supporting local corporate governance matters.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • LLB and/or LLM.
  • Qualified to practice law in Singapore.
  • 3-5 years of experience in law firms or multinational companies.
  • Fluent in English to communicate with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong mindset in risk management.
  • Assertive and capable of making tough decisions.
  • Autonomous and able to work independently.
