Job Summary:

The Assistant F&B Manager supports the F&B Manager in overseeing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining profitability, and enhancing the overall guest experience. This role involves staff supervision, inventory management, operational efficiency, and customer engagement to uphold service excellence and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Operations Management

  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain food quality, presentation, and efficiency.
  • Supervise floor operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

2. Staff Supervision & Training

  • Support in hiring, training, and mentoring F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen crew.
  • Conduct regular team briefings to ensure service consistency and operational alignment.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching for continuous improvement.

3. Customer Experience & Service Standards

  • Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction by responding to feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Engage with guests to create a memorable dining experience and build customer loyalty.
  • Implement service quality standards and brand guidelines across all F&B outlets.

4. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Assist in ordering, stock control, and supplier coordination to maintain efficiency.
  • Control food and beverage costs, reduce wastage, and optimize profitability.

5. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Assist in planning and executing promotions, events, and special menus to drive revenue.
  • Support in upselling strategies and train staff on increasing sales opportunities.
  • Monitor sales reports and financial performance metrics, assisting in decision-making.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine audits of cleanliness, kitchen operations, and service areas.
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
