The Director will lead the Social Sustainability Division’s Programme Office and provide overall strategic and operational oversight to ensure the successful implementation of corporate volunteering. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, programme development and execution, research, impact measurement and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and oversight for the strategic planning and execution of social sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and programme outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community organisations, intermediaries and other stakeholders to advance programme delivery and collaboration.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Reporting: Develop and implement frameworks to measure the social and business impact of programmes, including corporate volunteering. Conduct research and oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting on KPIs. Identify areas for improvement and use insights to inform programme refinement and strategic decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the development and delivery of training resources and capacity-building initiatives to support corporate partners in implementing effective programmes.
  • Team Management: Lead, manage and develop a team of professionals, to ensure high performance and alignment with division goals. Foster a collaborative, purpose-driven team culture.

Job Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, Social Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Extensive and relevant experience in corporate social responsibility, volunteer management, or community engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing impactful social programmes, particularly those involving corporate volunteering.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and applying monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
