The Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for assisting the Spa Supervisor in overseeing the spa operations provided to the guest according to the service rules, policy, procedure, and etiquette, in line with our vision.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide mentorship to Spa Therapists
Act as a role model for other Spa therapists, helping to mentor and train any new colleague.
Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring Spa Supervisor is aware when stock levels need replenishing.
Product quality & knowledge of work
Proficient in body/face care product(s) brand knowledge, body/face care expertise, knowledge of both professional and retail products
Well-versed in general anatomy and physiology/skin knowledge.
Deliver outstanding and consistent body/face treatments in accordance with LQA/Forbes service standards.
Retail sales
Maintains a genuine relationship with guests based on care for their needs and concerns through effective home care advice after each treatment, recommendation and relevant retailing.
Able to encourage treatment add-ons and perform homecare product retail during post- treatment.
Training
Attends all training courses deemed as necessary, and adheres to training session as planned by the Spa Supervisor.
Fulfills all scheduled theory and practical training requirements.
General housekeeping & maintenance
Ensure the general cleanliness of the treatment room, facilities, pantry and public areas.
Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge and Experience
Attained international certification such as CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC, WSQ Diploma
Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
3-5 years previous experience in a luxury spa environment.
Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar in English.
Knowledgeable of spa treatments and Products
Competencies
Ability to recommend and promote spa products and services to guests.
Knowledge of draping procedures and protocol.
