We are looking for a Chef De Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join our team! This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating exceptional dishes and maintaining high kitchen standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare food according to set standards and production requirements
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and taste of all dishes
Oversee daily food waste management, stock ordering and receiving
Conduct monthly inventory checks to maintain proper stock levels
Collaborate with the team to ensure operational efficiency, productivity and hygiene
Assist in maintaining personal grooming and hygiene standards within the team
Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen cleanliness and equipment hygiene
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
Work Arrangements
Full-Time – 6 days work week (42 hours shift per week, excluding lunch break)
OT pay will be provided in accordance with the MOM regulations
Off every Monday
Requirements
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is a plus (Casual Dining Restaurant)
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation and presentation techniques
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Energetic, cooperative and self-motivated with initiative
Good understanding of food safety and high hygiene standards
Flexible and willing to support all aspects of kitchen operations when required
