Job Summary

As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of digital marketing clients, ensuring smooth project execution, and fostering long-term relationships. Your primary focus will be on client retention, upselling additional services, and ensuring high-quality campaign performance.

You will act as a strategic partner to clients, helping them navigate their digital marketing needs while working closely with our SEO, SEM, and SMA teams to execute campaigns effectively.

Responsibilities:

Client Management & Strategy Execution

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned digital marketing clients, ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their long-term goals and provide ongoing digital marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with the SEO, SEM, and SMA teams to align digital strategies with client business objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for service expansion.
  • Develop SEO, SEM, and SMA strategies based on client needs, competitor analysis, and performance trends.
  • Actively monitor contract expiration dates and lead discussions on renewals, upsell opportunities, and service expansions.

Upselling & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and propose additional digital marketing services (SEO, SEM, SMA, Content Marketing, Web Development) based on client needs and growth potential.
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives by recognizing opportunities to enhance client campaigns with additional services.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to craft tailored proposals for client upgrades.
  • Work towards achieving retention and revenue growth targets, ensuring client renewals are secured well in advance.
  • Keep track of client satisfaction metrics to proactively address concerns and increase retention rates.

Project Oversight & Internal Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between clients and the SEO, SEM, and SMA teams, ensuring clear communication of goals, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager, SEO Specialists, and Paid Media Specialists to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and drive results.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.
  • Oversee performance reporting, ensuring insights are clearly communicated and actionable recommendations are provided.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Optimization

  • Regularly review campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Provide recommendations for campaign optimizations based on performance data, client goals, and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on SEO, SEM, and SMA industry trends, algorithm changes, and digital marketing innovations.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, technical SEO challenges, or paid media inefficiencies with internal specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing account management, with expertise in SEO, SEM, and SMA.
  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies, paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and digital marketing funnels.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Ads Manager.
  • Proven experience in client retention and revenue growth, with a strong ability to upsell and secure renewals.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to identify and communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proactive, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
