The Curriculum Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and refining educational programs and materials to ensure alignment with learning objectives, industry standards, and institutional goals. This role involves conducting research, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), and incorporating instructional best practices to create engaging and effective curricula for various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Design & Development: Design and develop comprehensive curriculum frameworks, course outlines, lesson plans, and assessments tailored to the needs of learners.
  • Content Research & Alignment: Ensure curriculum aligns with academic standards, industry regulations, and institutional requirements.
  • Collaboration with SMEs: Where required, work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to incorporate up-to-date, relevant content.
  • Assessment Development: Create formative and summative assessments to measure learning outcomes effectively.
  • Instructional Material Creation: Develop engaging learning resources, including textbooks, manuals, presentations, and multimedia content.
  • Integration of Technology: Utilize digital tools, e-learning platforms, and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate curriculum effectiveness through feedback and data analysis, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and institutional guidelines in curriculum development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have the required course developer/curriculum design qualifications such as ACTA, ACLP, DACE or DDDLP.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in curriculum design and instructional material development.
  • Strong knowledge of educational theories, pedagogical approaches, and assessment strategies.
  • Ability to research and synthesize complex information into accessible curriculum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
