The Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination and execution of corporate events, including
meetings, conferences, town halls and other client events. This role involves working closely with the Events
Coordinator to ensure smooth pre and post events.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events and conferences, both on-site and off-site.
Liaise with vendors and venues to secure slots and services for events (eg, catering and audio-visual).
Perform any other duties as requested by the Client or Events Coordinator.
Coordinate event logistics, including set up, attendee lists, aircon extensions and others.
Assist in the creation of event timelines and schedules.
Provide on-site support during events, managing attendee inquiries, coordinating with event staff, ensuring minimal disruptions.
Follow up closely on pre and post-events, including gathering feedback from internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update event calendars and shared databases.
Ensure adherence to company policies and workplace guidelines during event executions.
Requirements:
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Diploma in Marketing, Business, Mass Communications, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with positive learning attitude.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Some commute may be required for events off-site.
