This role will also be responsible for overseeing the franchise management plans sharing, roll out and execution in the region.Your New RoleKey Responsibilities:Working hand in hand with country retail and marketing teams and supporting them for the belowRetail Strategy & Management:Develop and help execute strategies across retail channels for licensed products, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and the regions with a more hands on approach on South East Asia and Korea.Coordinate retail programs and ensure product availability across multiple retail channels (physical stores, e-commerce).Monitor retail performance and sales trends, recommending adjustments or new initiatives to drive growth.Marketing & Branding:Collaborate with the local teams to design and implement compelling marketing campaigns ( digital and offline)that promote licensed products. Oversee seasonal and promotional marketing plans, including product launches and retail events.Support the creation of marketing materials, point-of-sale displays, digital media, and promotional content.Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement with target audiences.Conduct competitive analysis to ensure the company stays ahead of trends in retail.Collaborate on market research, identifying key consumer trends and insights to inform product development and marketing efforts.Budget ManagementDevelop and manage marketing and retail budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.Track expenses and optimize spending to ensure maximum ROI from campaigns and retail initiatives.Report on sales performance and marketing ROI to senior leadership and stakeholders.OtherDistribute brand news/communications materials to APAC teams as needed.Steward the APAC Consumer Products (CP) Franchise management plans including interfacing with Global CP Franchise management as well as APAC CP teams and other relevant business divisions. This includes representing WBCP APAC on all brand calls, being the conduit for any updates – to the global team - on key local brand activations as well as managing requests from both the Global Franchise team and regional teams.Prepare high quality presentations and present compelling retail / marketing campaigns to all relevant stakeholdersWork on and lead additional projects as assigned.Experience required:University degree with background in business studies, marketing or brand management preferableAt least 8 years’ experience required in marketing, sales, retail and licensing.Experienced presenter, negotiator and influencer with the ability to work across a matrixed organisation.Strong understanding of retail operations and product distribution channels (including e-commerce)Strong grasp of social media and digital marketingExperience working collaboratively across diverse locations and lines of business (LoB) to achieve organizational goals and foster a cohesive team environment.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with stakeholdersExperience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.Proven ability to manage budgets and drive sales performance.Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software tools requiredCompetencies we are looking for:Relationship management and influencing skillsCommercial - curious about the business and actively influences and contributes to discussionsWilling to challenge and debate issues that matterClear thinking - willing to make sound and prompt decisionsCredible and Results Driven - able to lead major projects and change programmes.Role models WBD valuesHow We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
